Care Character Trial
Throughout May Cohesion – the PhD sponsors behind Care Character – will be offering care providers the opportunity to trial Care Character for their next two hires.
In order to ensure that all organisations can get the most out of their trial, regular hiring manager support sessions are being held with Dave Beesley, Social Care Talent Director at Cohesion.
Dave will talk hiring managers through the process of using Care Character in their recruitment, and how to utilise the reports in candidate interviews to explore their potential within the seven qualities of care.
Care Character provides a set of values based interview questions that a hiring manager can use to probe applicants further during an interview.
Values based recruitment is important, particularly for the care sector where demand for carers outstrips supply by a worrying margin. Hiring individuals based on their values and behaviours widens candidate pools and supports retention too.
